Steps for Grading:

  1. To be able to grade, you first should accept the invitation to be an owner of the oberlin-csci150-23fa organization.
  2. Go to https://classroom.github.com/classrooms.
  3. Click on oberlin-csci150-23fa.
  4. Click on lab 1
  5. First you will open their lab and make sure it runs. Click on the Repository button next to the student you are grading. (in this example, I am grading Abby Lewin - She’s a lab helper for the class.)
  6. Create a new codespace to view their code and run it. Instructions can be found in lab 1 if you don’t know how codespaces work.
  7. Once you are done grading (I would suggest making notes in a temporary note document or creating a copy of the grading scheme document), click on the feedback button pictured in step 5. Scroll to the bottom and paste your grade in the comment box. Please make sure it is formatted the same as the template at the bottom of the grading scheme, otherwise my gradescraper program will not work and I will have to manually pull the grades to enter them to blackboard.
  8. You are done! Move on to the next student
